keep up with the traffic : Garmin GTM 25 with Lifetime Traffic
Just to address some of the previous reviews...
This is advertisement supported -- and it VERY clearly says that in the manual for my GPS unit. Actually, the manual for my unit (255W) says at least 3 times that the traffic service is advertisement supported.
And, it's very easy to use -- as outlined in the manual for my GPS unit. Automatically re-routes you around severe traffic, calculates new arrival time based on delays -- drove to NYC from Maine and never made it there so quickly! It did miss a tie up in Worcester MA, but that's on the fringes of the coverage area (check out coverage areas on the Garmin website).
Moral of the story -- read the manual for your GPS unit and you will know EXACTLY what you are getting with this traffic receiver. If you no longer have your manual, go to Garmin's website and download it. I found the manual to be extremely clear, very informative and I knew exactly what to expect before I decided to order this.
For me, this is a great add on and I'm very pleased.
